1. DATA WE COLLECT
We collect your email address, operator handle, profile data, location (if you enable it), messages, and room activity. We also collect device and usage data to keep the grid stable.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
Your data powers the REKR experience: matching you to nearby frequencies, enabling real-time chat, and securing your node. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models.
3. LOCATION DATA
Location is optional. If enabled, we use it to show nearby rooms and place you on the live map. You can revoke location access at any time through your device settings.
4. COOKIES & TRACKING
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
5. DATA RETENTION
Messages and room data are retained as long as the room exists. Burner rooms expire and their content is deleted automatically. Account data is retained until you request deletion.
6. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can request a full data export or account deletion by contacting ops@rekrrooms.com.
7. SECURITY
We use encryption in transit and at rest. Access is protected by Row-Level Security policies and invite-gate validation. No system is impenetrable, but we take reasonable measures to protect your transmissions.
8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We use Google OAuth for authentication and Mapbox for mapping. These services have their own privacy policies. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
9. CHANGES TO THIS ARCHIVE
We may update this Privacy Archive as the grid evolves. Significant changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
